Difference between Earthbound (Prototype) and Earthbound Zero
If you just want to speed through a game, you turned it into work. It was easy to do, they just had to edit one single byte for it to work. Oh, and for those interested, the original untouched prototype rom works just fine on nesDS. EarthBound Zero hsck the Demiforce hack that was initially done to make it playable on NESticle popular emu of the timeand later a source of much woe and confusion.
It's easily identified by ezro title screen having ZERO on it, whereas proto versions won't. Gameplay balance hack — EarthBound Zero is known for being somewhat tedious to play due to the high rate of random encounters and the large amount of level grinding the player must do.

Prototype Difference Earthbound Hide similar threads. It's a dry translation but good enough. JamesBond said on Feb. Without the patch, stronger versions are spelled in two words Giga Borg and Omega Borgbut the weakest version is spelled in one word. No one cares, Mother is the Japanese name.
